It's difficult to summarise this new novel by Tiffany Mcdaniel, to describe the emotions felt upon finishing. Themes such as drug addiction, racism, sexual abuse, violence against women are hard to read, but Tiffany Mcdaniel as usual dazzles us with her poetic writing, she succeeds in making us empathise with every word expressed, every sentence uttered. One thing I’m sure of is that you will never forget Arc or Duffy or any other missing women around the world.

Arcade and Daffodil are twin sisters born one minute apart. With their fiery red hair and thirst for an escape, they form an unbreakable bond nurtured by their grandmother's stories. Soon, more bodies are left floating in the water, and as the killer circles ever closer, Arc's promise to keep herself and her sister safe becomes increasingly desperate - and the powerful riptide of the savage side more difficult to survive.
