Sweetbitter

Figs in my locker [...] There was a teardrop at one end and I put it on my tongue. I felt undressed. Slice ten ripe figs, roughly chop one small goat cheese, roast a small handful of walnuts and combine with baby spinach, a drizzle of good olive oil and plenty of honey, season to taste and serve with crusty bread. Eat outside on a sunny day.
