An excellent copy, with some spots of wear to the spine and front cover, which also has a smattering of foxing in the upper left corner. Inscribed by the author on the half-title: "toujours à toi, Jean Genet". 

Genet's Journal du Voleur was first published in 1949 and translated into English as The Thief's Journal in 1954.
